How to Create a Coffee Product

Once you've done that, you're ready to create your coffee products! 👏
One of the first steps of getting your account setup, is to create your products. In this article we will walk you through how to set up your Coffee Products. To set up other products, see the links at the bottom of this page.
Creating a Coffee Product
NOTE: In order to create a roasted coffee product, you will need to have entered the information for the green coffee components and roast details and blend details. See above for links to those steps.
Step 1
- In the menu bar, click the drop drop arrow next to Inventory and choose Products
- Press the New Product button on the top right of the product page and select Coffee
- Fill out all the details about the product in this page.
- Use the Question Marks "?" to help learn definitions while in the app. A black box will pop up (as below) with more details.
- When you get to the Recipe section you will select what the product is made of, choosing from a Roast or a Blend (If you haven't already entered in your roasts and blends, go do so now. See links at the top of the page).
Options
For Coffee Products, the Options sections shows you what Bag and Grind settings you can choose from. Not all the options have to be available for all products. (You will see below in variants how to do this.)
If you don't see the options you'd like, review and update your selections in the Bags and Grinds sections on the Inventory tab.
Variants
Here you are able to choose which options are available for each specific product and set their cost and price. Maybe you only offer the 5 lb bag in whole bean and drop grind. No problem. You can toggle on and off each option.
Step 1
- Toggle on the variants you would like to make available for the product
- Complete the field for wholesale price.
- You can use the top line, shaded in blue, to enter a number that will autofill in all the fields for that variant.
Example: If all 12oz bag variants have the same price, you can just enter $9.99 once in the top box - shaded blue and all the fields for other 12oz bags will fill in with the same price.
LAST STEP :)
At the bottom of the page, Click "Create Product" to create your new product.
