How to Move to Operations from Production Runs

Operations in the upgraded version of Production Runs. It is much more powerful and dynamic. All users will be required to migrate to the Operations platform by the end of January 2024.


DO NOT do this on a MONDAY! We recommend you migrate to operations at the later part of the week so that you have some time to explore and see how it works.

Please read the Introduction to Operations video before you migrate over.


Requirements before upgrading

  1. Production runs must be 100% complete
  2. Upgrade can only be started by an Admin

If you're not sure who's an Admin on your account,

Select Account Name (in top right) > Select Team to visit your Team page.

Admins have an "Admin" banner.


Start the upgrade

  1. Select Account Name (in top right)  > Settings
  2. Select the "Migrate to Operations" button in the upper right hand corner
  3. A notification is shown and you will receive an email that your migration has started.  
  4. You will also see a yellow banner appear in the upper left hand corner that notifies you that your account is “Migrating”.

What happens next?

  1. Migrations may take anywhere from 30 seconds to 15 minutes depending upon your account, and the time of day.
  2. Please refrain from creating products, grinds or bags while the migration is in process.
  3. You will receive an email that notifies you the migration is complete. At the same time, you should see the Migration banner disappear when you click on a new page or refresh the current page.
