How to Complete Tasks in Operations

Completing tasks is central to RoasterTools Operations. For every task you and your team complete, you are one step closer to the end of the work day!

What Are Tasks?

Tasks are the individual steps you complete during each phase of Operations. This includes Roasting, Blending, Packaging, and Fulfilling – along with the necessary subtasks for each of these, such as Labelling and Grinding.

Tasks appear in Operations as individual boxes with the ability to be checked off or completed.

How to Complete Tasks

Completing tasks is easy as pie! Simply select the check box for each task as you complete it. This will turn the task box green. Task boxes can appear as white, green, or orange.

White Task Boxes

Tasks boxes appear white when they have yet to be completed.

Green Task Boxes

Task boxes appear green when they have been completed fully.

Orange Task Boxes

Task boxes appear orange when they are partially completed. For example, you have blended two of three components for a roast, leaving one subtask uncompleted. This will result in a partially complete task.

Can I partially Complete a Task?

While you can't partially complete a task, you can update the tasks to reflect what has been complete and what remains to be done.

  3. Create a task with the quantity you've completed
  4. Create another task with the quantity remaining to be completed
  5. Press Refresh on your browser - You will now see the two new tasks.
  6. Select the original task with the total quantity
  7. Press the trash icon at the top to delete the original task
  8. Press refresh on your browser. The original task will be deleted.
  9. Then you can complete the task with just the quantity remaining.
