How to Make Product Ingredients Inactive

Once an ingredient like a Green Coffee, Blend or a Roast has been used in a recipe like a Product, it can't be deleted.  Instead, you can make it inactive.  

How to Make an Ingredient Inactive

1. Click to edit the item

2. We recommend renaming the item with a prefix of IA for Inactive (this helps group them together and then identify if there is an inactive component as part of a a recipe. Example: an inactive green coffee is the component for an active Roast)

   
   

   Two ways to Deactivate:

3. You can click the three dots on the right side of a product / blend / roast / green to deactivate it:

   

   
   
   

4. In the item there will be a checkbox or toggle that says Active?  Uncheck that checkbox to make it inactive: 

   

5. Click Update to save the change
