How to upload and assign Contacts

How to upload new contacts

  1. Download a blank CSV template file from your Account Settings 
    1. Visit https://app.roastertools.com/account/edit
    2. Click "Import & Export"
    3. Click on "Contacts"
    4. Click "Download CSV"
  2. Complete each of the required sections (marked by an *), with each contact on a separate line.  
  3. Add a column called "Customer1" to assign to a contact to an existing Customer.  Continue to add columns as needed, increasing the number by one each time (e.g. Customer2, Customer3, etc.)
  4. Click "Upload CSV"

Contacts on Inactive customers

If an existing contact is assigned to a Customer that is inactive, it will still export but "(Inactive)" will be added to the customer's name like this: "Star Coffee (Inactive)".
