How to upload and assign Contacts
How to upload new contacts
- Download a blank CSV template file from your Account Settings
- Visit https://app.roastertools.com/
account/edit - Click "Import & Export"
- Click on "Contacts"
- Click "Download CSV"
- Visit https://app.roastertools.com/
- Complete each of the required sections (marked by an *), with each contact on a separate line.
- Add a column called "Customer1" to assign to a contact to an existing Customer. Continue to add columns as needed, increasing the number by one each time (e.g. Customer2, Customer3, etc.)
- Click "Upload CSV"
Contacts on Inactive customers
If an existing contact is assigned to a Customer that is inactive, it will still export but "(Inactive)" will be added to the customer's name like this: "Star Coffee (Inactive)".
